This corner landmark in downtown Ridgewood, NJ has stood as a coffee shop for decades. Since their transformation in the early aughts, they’ve been hailed as one of the earliest Specialty Coffee shops in the neighboring region (outside of NYC). They have been brewing and serving craft coffee (pour-overs, latte art, etc.) with expertise, passion, and bit of quirkiness since before it was cool.

There’s rarely a time without local art on the walls and there’s plenty of downtown to explore if you take it to-go.

While it may share a similar name…and staff…don’t assume the vibe of TCC is anything else like the shop mentioned above. TCC is its own destination with its own character and offerings: a coffee-shop-lover’s coffee shop with additional emphasis on their espresso bar. Somewhat removed from the main downtown area of Tenafly, and with a somewhat more minimalist atmosphere, this shop lends itself to really savoring every sip. This specialty coffee shop prepares our beans impeccably.

Located on-campus at Fordham University, Rodrique’s Coffee House is the home of “things like coffee and music and movies”. A darling little coffee house by day–and occasionally a raging music venue by night–but always a place brimming with creativity and love.

“Come for the climbing–stay for the community”–or just grab a delicious coffee! Method Café is a super unique and gorgeous spot with high ceilings and specialty coffee. Aesthetically, it blurs the line between cozy coffee house and ironbound-beauty with nice accents of greenery to make for a very chill space. They also host a variety of events from Open Mics & Karaoke to Chess and D&D. Keep updated via their Instagram @methodclimbcafe . They serve our coffee and have whole beans available for purchase as well.

Not to mention there is a serious indoor rock climbing/bouldering gym down below! We are definitely excited to be available here–and highly recommend checking them out.
