The AA rating is a Kenya-specific distinction related to the highest quality beans produced in this already-top-quality region. The specific quality standards include size (second-largest), growing conditions, and the final product itself.  These beans offer a delightful and complex character that combines cleanliness and balance, and we’ve roasted this East African gem to bring out its rich body, vibrant acidity, aromatic fragrance, and an almost wine-like aftertaste with berry and citrus notes. We are very happy with the results.
