Long time Amalthea fans may recall the last Shakiso we had a few years back–it was very popular (and one of our roaster favs). Upon sampling this new Guji-Shakiso crop, we were very happy. The natural genetic diversity of the Ethiopian heirloom varieties contributes to this coffee’s layered expression perfectly—strawberry-forward sweetness, chocolate richness, and floral aromatics, shaped by high-altitude growing and natural processing. The finesse-finish is well balanced, just hinting at tea-like silkiness while still maintaining a medium-bodied mouthfeel.

An obvious must-try for Ethiopian coffee fans, and anyone looking for a naturally delicious coffee!
